Beth Weatherston
Social Worker
Beth Weatherston is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience providing counselling and support to youth, adults, and families. With advanced training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma‑informed care, Beth is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and navigate complex mental health challenges with compassion and clarity.
Over the past decade, Beth has supported individuals through her work in hospital-based mental health services, court and justice settings, community programs, and school environments. She is skilled in clinical assessment, collaborative treatment planning, risk evaluation, and both individual and group therapy. Beth is known for her calm, grounded presence and her ability to form strong therapeutic relationships rooted in safety, respect, and empowerment.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Beth brings a holistic, strengths-focused approach to therapy—valuing connection, personal growth, and meeting clients where they are.
Outside of her professional life, Beth is deeply family‑oriented and finds joy in being active and outdoors. She loves watching her sons play hockey and has recently taken up learning to play the sport herself. When she’s not at the rink, Beth enjoys playing volleyball, walking her dog along local trails, and spending restorative time by the water.
